Exporting a Machine from one Database to another

What it does


The following article will descripe a standalone tool the allows the export of one single Machine with all inherent Data (measurement, Alarms, Fault frequencies...) from one Database to another.


This module only works when the source and the destination DB were built using the same Database version. 
if you see an error appearing, this means that's not propably the case. contact a BETAVIB Engineer if you need Help.  

Sequence


In order to copy one machine from one DB to another, use this Export Tool and follow these Steps.

  1. Select a Database from the Source DB's Listbox. (Left)
  2. Select the machine to Copy from the left treeview. 
  3. Select a DIFFERENT Database from the Destination DB's listbox (Right) 
  4. Select a Departement that will host the copied machine in the destination DB.
  5. Click on the Button Export.

Interface



Copy duration may vary depending on the number of files under the copied machine. Please wait until you see a message telling you the copy is done Success
